From Les:
In pursuit of happiness…
It’s only been 2 years since I rode my first Fixed Gear bike and instantly got hooked to it. The simplicity and the lifestyle have got me intrigued to this type of bicycle. A few frames and builds has passed by my hands all of them are a beaut in their own different way, but there is still this feel of unsatisfaction, always looking for something in every build, something I feel that is lacking, may it be the comfort, style, colour, or maybe it’s the addictive feel of excitement in every upgrade. Until one day I stumbled upon this bike frame it’s a Cinelli Vigorelli. It’s not love at first sight as I may say, as the only colour way available is not working for me, but after a bit of research and review, the natural geo of this bike got me interested as all my passed bike frames are made of steel and straight in top tube, the Cinelli Vigorelli has a sloping top tube and is made of aluminium. This frame is created both for crit and the velodrome race and in my opinion, it adopted the sloping technology of road bikes to give ease and comfort in climb, pursuit and in sprint without sacrificing aggressiveness and effectivity. Finally, got my hand on the new 2014 model, the “Vigorosa” and so far enjoying the ride, and given its unique new colorway, this time I can say that its love at first sight.
